These wines have a bear on the label because the grandfather winemaker was late for a regular meeting with his friends. So they drew a picture of him and it by his seat, he looked like a bear of a man. This is a dry, spicy, food friendly Germany wine. Grauburgunder is the German translation of Pinot Gris, which is a grape that has more flavour and texture than Pinot Grigio.
