Produced by Domaine Paul & Marie Jacqueson, a family-owned winery located in the heart of Burgundy, France. The Jacqueson family has been making wine for generations, and their expertise and dedication to quality are evident in every bottle they produce.
This wine is made from the Aligote grape variety, which is indigenous to Burgundy and known for its crisp acidity and citrusy notes. The grapes for this vintage were carefully harvested by hand and then gently pressed to extract the juice. The resulting wine was then aged in stainless steel tanks to preserve its freshness and delicate flavours.
On the palate, it is light and refreshing, with vibrant notes of lemon, green apple, and a hint of minerality. Its crisp acidity makes it a perfect pairing for seafood dishes, salads, or as an aperitif.
Overall, the Paul and Marie Jacqueson Bourgogne Aligote 2021 is a beautiful expression of Burgundy's terroir and winemaking tradition and an excellent alternative to Chardonnay if you are looking for something on the lighter side.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome.
