From one of Sicily's most notable producers, this Frappato is grown organically in the recognised Vittoria region.
The nose is aromatic and floral, with delicate notes of ripe red fruit, such as strawberries and raspberries, mingled with hints of violet and rose petal. There’s also a subtle herbal undertone, with a touch of Mediterranean spice and a faint earthiness. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied with soft, velvety tannins. The fresh red fruit flavors of cherries, strawberries, and raspberries come through clearly, with an added layer of sweet spices and a touch of minerality. The acidity is lively, giving the wine a refreshing lift, while the overall texture is smooth and elegant.
Its fresh fruitiness and floral notes make it a perfect pairing for light to medium dishes like grilled meats, pasta with tomato sauce, or even seafood. It’s a wine that offers both complexity and drinkability, ideal for a wide range of occasions.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome.
