Quinta de La Rosa is a small family-owned estate whose vines run all the way up the Douro Valley from river-level up to 450 metres. This gives winemaker Jorge Moreira 11 different microclimates to work with, meaning the quinta is renowned for its creative blends and a wide range of wine styles.
The gloriously golden 2019 La Rosa Branco is a sun-kissed blend of various indigenous Douro white varieties. On the nose, succulent white fruit, herbs and tropical fruit waft up from the glass. It's so smooth and balanced in the mouth, packed with ripe fruit notes but finishing light and fresh.
