52% Touriga Nacional, with the rest coming from mixed field planted vines. Fermented and matured in stainless-steel vats. Bottled in April 2019. douROSA wines are blended to be easy and approachable wines for immediate drinking. Summer 2017’s high temperatures resulted in wines a little more dense and concentrated than normal. Despite this the douROSA Red continues to be characterized by its balance and elegance. Pretty violet in colour, with fresh and elegant red fruit flavours ending in soft young tannins.

Whilst packing up to move internationally a friend died and I needed to organise an emergency case of something luscious to support the wake. This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
