Rathfinny Rosé Brut 2018 is an incredible vintage. The wine shows an expressive red-fruit style that beautifully showcases the increased presence of Pinot Noir within this classic Champagne varietal blend (63% Pinot Noir, 19% Chardonnay, 18% Pinot Meunier).
Striking cerise in hue, delivering a vibrant nose of cranberries and redcurrants. On the palate, ripe cherries and with lifted notes of quince on the finish.
This sparkling wine show great versatility for food-matching. Although a stunning pairing with the tart notes of a rhubarb crumble, the additional structure of the 2017 vintage makes this Rosé a phenomenal partner to sweet and sour Asian dishes.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
