The Rheingau is the smallest, but possibly the most important German wine region. It is famous for both dry and sweet wines, and they are generally richer and more powerful than other regions. The vines for this wine are grown on steep slate hills. This Riesling is tight, racy and laser like with it's precise citrus flavours. It's a very fine wine, which is good now but will also age well.
