Through his time at Cape Point, Duncan grew to understand maritime vineyards, which led him to source grapes for Savage wines from maritime and high altitude sites around the Western Cape. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA blend of Touriga Nacional (56%) and Syrah (44%) from Malgas, co fermented then aged for 11 months in neutral oak. It has an opulent, generous feel, full of velvety dark fruits. It's not cloying, there is enough balancing acidity to keep it luxuriant but upbeat.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAromas of plum, cherry and blueberry are complemented by subtle savoury notes and an underlying oyster shell salinity.
