This beauty comes from Emiliana's organic vineyard at Los Robles which is planted on the foothills of a mountainous outcropping in Lo Moscoso. Emiliana are one of Chile's most exciting producers and pioneers in organic and biodynamic winemaking. They make organic and sustainable wines which are accessible and don't break the bank.
This red has been made very naturally with only light filtration and aged for a year in a mixture of concrete eggs and French oak barrels.
It's deep in colour with an intensely fruity nose full of strawberries and cherries. The elegant oak lends a touch of vanilla too. It's full and juicy with notes of violet, leather and spice. It is very well balanced and lush.
