Alma Atlantica Alba Martin Albarino 2020 (Rias Baixas) - £16.99

The vines are grown on the sides of the valleys around the river Tamega, at between 400-450 metres above sea level. The climate here is temperate Mediterranean, influenced by the Atlantic ocean. An aromatic and elegant Albariño, with notes of white flowers, white peach, pear, apricot and citrus notes, balanced by a mouth-watering acidity and hint of salinity thanks to the vines’ proximity to the Atlantic Ocean.

Clos de Lom  Malvasia 2019 (Valencia) - £17.99

This Malvasía spends around four months on its lees to get more complexity and volume of flavour. Wine shows a bright greenish yellow colour. It has an intense aroma of ripe fruits; such as red apple, peach, lychee with a floral background of orange blossom. This is reflected in the palate: ripe fruits, with good structure, noted for its freshness, balanced acidity and a long and tasty mouth finish.

L'Olivera Agaliu 2018 (Costers del Segre) - £22.50

This is an organic wine made from 100% Macabeo which has been barrel fermented in French and American oak for 4 months. Agaliu is an old Catalan word meaning hope and aspiration. The wines are made by a social integration cooperative whose members are people with difficulties who participate actively in the entire process. They are convinced that work is a vital and emotional experience.                               It's an elegant wine, full of pear and brioche notes, clean and dry and a very versatile food wine. A great winery to support and a delicious wine to drink, win win.
