The 2012 Estate Pinot Noir expresses exceptional aromatic complexity with notes of fresh black cherries and subtle rhubarb, followed by hints of toasted oak and ripe cranberry. This wine has flavors of raspberry, dried thyme, tobacco and finishes with a hint of black pepper.
225 people helped foot stomp, basket press & transfer this wine to oak for maturation, tasting it along the way. Each of them has their names printed on a different bottle, somewhere out there in the world are 10 bottles with only their name on it.
Ripe blueberries and plums and all spice on the nose. Round, juicy, sweet dark fruit on the palate, with plenty of body. Soft vanilla oak, subtle tannins and a warming finish.
Only 2890 bottles of this wine were produced this year, and Butlers Wine Cellar are lucky enough to have some!
