Situated in the Val do Salnes in the heart of Rias Baixas, Terras de Compostela craft stunning Albarino with the influence of the Atlantic ocean. The wines are made with the utmost care and attention; vines are trained on the traditional pergola system of the region, grapes are hand-harvested and sorted and the wines are allowed a long rest on the fine lees before release.
A selection of only the ripest grapes from their top San Amedio vineyard, this is the top wine of the estate and the quintessence of Albarino. Increased lees-stirring as added additional weight to the palate of this bold and complex white wine.
Abundant citrus and stone fruit aromas, with a subtle blossom character and toasty and flinty notes. Broad and full on the first impression, the bright acidity and coastal minerality then carries the wine through its long dry finish. An outstanding pairing for seafood stews and rices.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
