This has massive ageing potential, it is full of energy but still quite closed unless you allow a full days opening time. Wild berry fruit and woodland aromas, masses of tannin but it has fruit to match, this is built for the long haul. 30 months in oak.
A fruity, floral nose marked by fine notes of French wood.
Rich and persistent on the palate with good acidity. Although the malolactic fermentation takes place in wood and the wine ages on its lees, it is surprisingly fresh.
