Tiko Estate Orange Kisi 2020
The Tiko estate was established in 2017 by two brothers Levan and Georgi Chychynadze. They use modern winemaking technology, and traditional Georgian equipment and techniques to create quality wines, from native Georgian varieties, which reflect Georgia’s rich winemaking traditions.
Tiko’s Orange Kisi is a traditionally made orange wine, which has been fermented and aged on the skins for up to 6 months, clay pots known as qvevri (amphorae). Serious concentration, complexity, amplified aromatics, and depth of flavour come out with aromas of dried apricots and ripe peaches. On the palate it is well rounded, with a sophisticated tannin structure, vibrant acidity, and a long honeyed finish.
Orange Kisi is a perfect pair for spicy dishes, seafood such as shellfish and salmon, aged hard cheeses.
