The Torres family are best known for their wines made in their home region of Catalunya, but their expansions into other Spanish regions have proved very successful as well. Among them is a superb project in Rioja, which has given us this velvety and easy-drinking Crianza.
100% Tempranillo which is aged for 12 months in oak barrels prior to further ageing in the bottle. A deep cherry-red colour, on the nose it reveals notes of ripened black fruits and aromas including cocoa and nutmeg from the oak, it has a silky palate which combines creamy blackberry flavours with the spicy oak notes.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
