An old vintage Tempranillo from the Ribera del Duero. It originally spent 21 months ageing in oak before bottle, in its youth it was robust but after nearly 20 years its softened and the fruit has changed. Expect and earthy nose with prunes. With a charming touch of smoked wood on the palate it's perfect for drinking over aged meats and cheese.
Expect a little sediment and for it not too last many days when opened.
