Valpolicella, Ripasso Superiore, Campi Magri, Corte Sant Alda, 2015

Mid ruby. Caramel, crushed rock and dried cherry, with a perfumed, floral lift – a really attractive nose. Ripe, dense red and black berry fruit on the palate, with some dried character from the ripasso method are wrapped around punchy, firm tannins which push through the finish.
