A project started in 2007 by 3 friends. The 12 hectare vineyards are located around Ormoz in the appellation of Styria (Stajerska) on the Jeruzalem-Ormoz hills close to the Hungarian-Croatian borders. The cool climate here is influenced by the Alps, the Adriatic Sea and the Pannonian Plain.
Made with Pinot Gris (AKA Pinot Grigio / Sivi Pinot). Fermented in stainless steel, the wine then spends two months on fine lees to develop texture. Bottled unfined and gently filtered.
Ripe grapefruit, almonds and citrus, flavours on the nose. Moderate acid, stone fruit character and very elegant on the palate.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
