Emile Balland, le Balbuzard Sauvignon Blanc 2017 (Loire, France)

The Ballands have been making wines in the Loire since 1650. Emile’s organic vineyards overlook the river Loire and provide fruit for this fantastic, easy drinking Sauvignon. Lovely big notes of tropical fruits, grapefruit and citrus, with a slight vegetal undertone. The palate is fresh and clean, exactly how Sauvignon should be!

Arousana, Luzada Albarino 2018 (Rias Baixas, Spain)

Luzada comes from a modern winery committed to a fresh way of making and experiencing wine. The wine is complex, dry and crisp, with buckets of ripe stoned fruit and a saline acidity that’s preserved by the vineyards close proximity to the Atlantic Ocean. A real peach!

Muscadet Sevre et Maine , Selection des Cognettes 2018 (Loire, France)

The Perraud family produce outstanding Muscadet wines in a fully organic fashion, all grapes are hand harvested and there’s a real focus on quality. Their Selection des Cognettes is a dry and citrusy white wine, with a fresh, crisp minerality. The wine is aged on its lees for a year to give it a rounded, creamy texture. This is excellent!

Un Bon Canon, Cotes du Rhone Rouge 2018 (Rhone, France)

A clean, unoaked and fruit forward style of Cote du Rhone. A Grenache dominant blend with lots of sweet red fruit, cherry, and soft jammy berries on the palate.

Palacio del Camino Real, Crianza 2016 (Rioja, Spain)

A remarkably pure Rioja! Full of ripe dark fruits, velvety red cherry, vanilla and gentle woody notes from the 18 months aging it spends in oak barrels.

Bodegas Sottano, Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 (Mendoza, Argentina)

Sottano is a high-altitude estate in Mendoza is run by brothers Diego, Pablo and Mauricio. Their Cabernet is a deep and intense ruby hue. Juicy blackcurrant, with a touch of coffee and spice combine for a deliciously complex palate. A superb wine!
