Vinha Paz is a tale spanning five generations, where a profound connection to wine and the Terras do Dão region courses through their lineage. This narrative unfolds through wines that transcend time, meticulously crafted in centuries-old Dão mills, reflecting the serene beauty of Dão's landscapes. The family's unwavering love for the land has resulted in numerous accolades for their wines. The saga commenced with the birth of the first Vinha Paz in 2002, named in honour of António Canto Moniz's mother, marking the beginning of a family legacy spanning over a century, passed down from generation to generation. The story began in their ancestral granite mill winery and evolved with each generation's involvement, including a grandfather who led the Dão Winegrowers Federation, a father who championed co-operative winemaking and helmed a co-operative winery, and a younger brother who directed the Dão Wine Federation. The iconic label image depicts a gate at their home in Carreira Alta, where the wine cellar resides. Today, Henrique, António's son, continues this enduring story of five generations, crafting wines with unbridled passion and distinctive character for over 150 years.

This vintage a blend of native varieties found throughout the region - The nose reveals delicate aroma of black plum, blueberry and soft notes of cherry and fine spices. On the plate it shows excellent balance, fresh red fruit with soft tannins, high character and personality. Wine with a well-integrated structure expressing intense and very persistent notes promising good aging potential.
