This vineyard was introduced to us by some good friends who have a house in Norfolk, as they have visited the vineyard and really rate the wines. We have to agree, and the winemaker Lee is great to chat to and deal with.
Norfolk and East Anglia are becoming well known for the quality of Bacchus grapes they can grow there, this wine is made from 100% bacchus which we would compare to a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc in style.
It's full of tropical fruit, passion fruit, grapefruit and hints of elderflower. It's dry, crisp and not big alcohol at 12%, also vegan. Winner winner winbirri for dinner.
