The Nebbiolo grape has often been compared to Pinot noir from Burgundy, so we thought we ought to try them out. We have worked closely for many years with Ridgeview, the sparkling wine producer from Ditchling. Eastern European Wines

This will be a very interesting tasting, including new wines from Hungary (whites and reds, not just sweet), Bulgaria, Slovenia and Croatia, and others. There are some cracking little wines on this tasting, perhaps bottles which go unnoticed sometimes in the shop. The grape varieties may not be familiar, but the wines are good.
