Wine for the weekend - Plumpton Pinot Noir

Plumpton Pinot Noir 2018
Support local. We have a new wine from Plumpton College, when you buy one you can feel good about the low food miles, and the money we pay goes back into the college. Plumpton College asked us if we would collaborate on two wines, we jumped at the chance, this is the red, we also have had a white wine made for us, both with our own labels, specifically designed for us. We tasted many examples, our favourite was the 2018 Pinot Noir.
Although the weather is currently mixed, it is still summer holiday time, and good time for trying light bodied, fruity red wines. 2018 was a good vintage in terms of both quality and quantity. This is light bodied, it has a fresh fruit aroma, with a touch of spice, the palate is juicy, uplifting and refreshing. We prefer the unoaked style of this wine, as you can lightly chill it if you wish.

This is a feel good wine for the summer. 50p will be donated to The Crew Club, from every bottle sold.
