White wines made like red wines. That's the simplest way to describe the revived phenomenon that is orange wines.
Take white wine grapes, crush them to release the juice and leave in the skins and seeds when you put them through fermentation. This skin contact extracts tannins and adds structure and texture into the mix, alongside (sometimes in place of) the original fruity notes.
These are must-try wines - unconventional, intriguing, incredible with food and trendy without being faddy. Here's our current selection.
