Blackcurrant, blackberry, a touch of plum, and a subtle earthy spice. On the palate it’s bold and concentrated, with ripe black fruit wrapped in firm, sculpted tannins that give the wine its trademark Madiran structure. There’s a hint of warm spice and a slightly smoky, mineral edge that carries into a long, confident finish. It’s powerful but polished, and clearly built to age, though already impressive in its richness and depth.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
