Domaine du Petit Pérou has garnered over a century's worth of experience producing world class Beaujolais in the Villié-Morgon wine region. Over this time their estate has grown from three to eighteen hectares of vines, while maintaining the traditional growing methods handed down from father to son over five generations.
The vineyards are meticulously tended by experienced hands, with a focus on sustainable viticulture practices. The grapes, carefully hand-picked at optimal ripeness, undergo a gentle and selective sorting process to ensure only the finest fruit is used in the winemaking process. In the winery, traditional winemaking techniques are combined with modern expertise to bring out the true expression of the grapes.
Red berries present immediately on the nose, including luscious strawberries and juicy raspberries. As the wine develops on your palate, you'll discover subtle hints of blackcurrant and a touch of floral elegance, adding complexity to every sip. The smooth and velvety texture lingers, leaving a lasting impression.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
