Graci Etna Rosso is made with grapes grown in vineyards planted on the northeast side of Etna at heights between 600 and 700 metres above sea level that benefit from iron-rich volcanic soils. The winemakers take special care in the vineyards by avoiding the use of pesticides or herbicides and maintaining the natural balance of the terroir.
Made traditionally with spontaneous fermentation in cement tanks while still in contact with the grape skins then macerated for 30 days. After this it is aged in cement tanks for 18 months.
It's flavour is elegant and crunchy with a vibrant nose of wild strawberry, Sicilian herbs and blood orange. The structure is delicate with fine tannins, and a long finish, a perfect red to showcase the uniqueness of this region.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome.
