Sotol is a spirit made from the agave variety of the same name, also known as 'desert spoon'. Similar to a white Tequila or Mezcal, this has a lovely marriage of vegetal and fruit aroma, reminiscent of lemon verbena, mint and fennel, with a sweet hint of rosewater on the finish. A really delicious and unique spirit perfect for sipping as a digestif.

Great Wine/Spirit shop with knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff
This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
