Coming from the Haute Vallée de L'Aude which benefits from a cooler climate and higher altitude than most vineyards on the coast In the south of France. This cooler climate give the wine good acidity and expressive aromatic flavours. This Chardonnay spends time ageing in large old oak barrels to give it a rounded and creamy finish.

Whilst packing up to move internationally a friend died and I needed to organise an emergency case of something luscious to support the wake. Not only did their wonderful team organise and deliver within an incredibly tight deadline they drafted a message for me too which I approved. Wonderful!!

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
