The wine is made by Cantina Europa, one of largest wineries in Sicily, Sibiliana Vini uses the latest in modern winemaking technology to produce a range of wines with confident Sicilian character! Established in the early 1960s, it operates as a successful cooperative. They have been pioneers in organic farming in the area for many years. This wine comes from their Sibiliana range, which are their organic wines. Alongside their specialism in Nero D'Avola for the reds, they mainly focus on the indigenous Grillo grape for the white wines.
This elegant Chardonnay is aged in stainless steel. Straw-yellow colour, with apricot aromas. It is weighty yet fresh on the palate.
Drinks well with roast chicken or fried fish dishes.

Whilst packing up to move internationally a friend died and I needed to organise an emergency case of something luscious to support the wake. Not only did their wonderful team organise and deliver within an incredibly tight deadline they drafted a message for me too which I approved. Wonderful!!

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
