This intricate interplay results in a dynamic compilation of each varietal, composed entirely of grapes originating in close proximity to the ocean's invigorating breezes – a fundamental factor in cultivating Chardonnay and Pinot Noir within Sonoma County. Britt's winemaking philosophy grants the fruit the liberty to sing its own melody, displaying the unique story of each wine.
Crafted from 100% Chardonnay. The winemaking process skilfully navigated minimal oxidation, opting for protracted, cold fermentations and an understated approach, resulting in a harmonious ensemble of aromatic pleasures. This expertly fashioned wine encapsulates the lavish and refined essence of Sonoma. The Chardonnay reveals an intricate bouquet, blending notes of jasmine, honey, and pear, which segue into a velvety, sophisticated palate filled with nuances of citrus, stone fruit, and toasty notes from lees ageing.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
