Waterkloof Syrah is a very fine, elegant wine.
This is made from old vines with minimal intervention, their gravitational winery allows the wine to be made with as little interference as possible. It has a long slow fermentation with wild yeasts, in old oak barrels.
This is an aromatic, floral Syrah, it has lovely fruit with a hint of white pepper. It has a good combination of ripe fruit and savoury notes.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
