Amelia is the premium line from Concha y Toro designed to show the potential of Chile’s cooler, coastal-influenced vineyards, away from the warmer, more famous Maipo or Colchagua zones. The 2022 Amelia Pinot Noir comes from the Limarí Valley and specifically the Quebrada Seca Vineyard.
The vineyard benefits from coastal breezes and typical marine-influenced climate: cool nights (and often mist/fog) help slow ripening and preserve acidity, which is crucial for this 100% Pinot Noir to retain freshness and subtlety rather than heaviness.
Lifted aromas of red cherry, raspberry, and a touch of rose petal, with a clean mineral note. The palate is supple and finely textured, showing bright, lively acidity and silky tannins.
Crunchy red berries, subtle spice and a gentle herbal edge with a clean, chalky freshness. The finish is long, elegant and subtly saline, giving the wine a sense of precision and coastal finesse. A poised, delicate Pinot Noir with real purity and mineral depth.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
