This wine, intended as an exclusive family reserve, has been made available by one of the Sottano brothers who chose to secretly release a limited quantity, without telling the rest of the family!
Judas is the estates top wine. 100% Malbec this wine boasts remarkable flavour and structure. It presents a pure and intense array of dark fruits, including classic notes of damson, dark plum, and blackcurrant, complemented by a refreshing lift of cranberry. A delightful mineral and floral elegance enhance its complexity. The influence of oak is evident with hints of vanilla, clove, cedar, and dark smoke, while the tight tannins harmonize perfectly with the fruit's intensity and the wine's notable alcohol content. A classic pairing with good quality steak.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
