A benchmark for modern white Burgundy, Vincent Girardin has long been celebrated for making wines that express purity, balance and terroir. From humble beginnings in the 1980s, the Domaine has grown into one of the Côte de Beaune’s most respected names, now guided by the next generation under Marco Girardin, with winemaker Eric Germain driving a thoughtful evolution towards biodynamic practices, earlier harvesting and a lighter touch with oak.
Sourced from carefully selected parcels across Burgundy, this Terroir Blanc reflects that philosophy, combining accessibility with genuine regional character. Hand-harvested grapes are gently pressed and vinified with precision, before ageing in large-format French oak barrels (500L) to build texture and complexity without overwhelming the fruit.
Bright and expressive, with aromas of ripe lemon, white flowers and subtle orchard fruit. The palate is fresh yet rounded, offering layers of citrus and stone fruit wrapped in a gentle richness. A fine line of minerality and vibrant acidity keeps the wine lifted and precise, leading to a clean, elegant finish.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
