An iconic producers best bottling is always something special and this is no different. Coming from the north western area of Montalcino this 100% Sangiovese is carefully hand picked. Aged for 24 months in oak barrels before spending 12 months resting in bottle. A mix of blackberry and cherry with a herbal finish, drink now for a robust example of Sangiovese, cellar for a few years for it to reach its potential.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
