Les Allées de Cantemerle is the second wine of classed growth Château Cantemerle in the Haut-Médoc and is predominantly made from the fruit of the vineyards' younger vines. A lovely wine that combines classic Left Bank Bordeaux character with silkiness and drinkability, in an excellent all-round vintage.
Ripe cherry, plum and blackcurrant fruit, with layers of cedar and oak spice on the nose. Medium to full-bodied, with nice firm tannic structure perfect for pairing with red meat.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome.
