The 2020 Siran is an expressive vintage with the wine matured in in 35% new oak.
On the nose you get a bouquet ofblack cherries, blueberry, violets and lavender with an unmistakably Margaux character.
On the palate it is bold with dark fruit with hints of licorice, spice, dark chocolate balance by firm tannins and racy acidity.
A very fine example from Chateau Siran.
Drink from 2026 to 2045.

Henry and Team managed to locate some difficult to find American wine which they kindly offered and I gratefully accepted. They truly differentiate by being able to surprise by sourcing stock very much outside the run of the mill.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
