Domaine de la Présidente is a family-owned estate nestled in the southern Rhône Valley, in Sainte Cécile les Vignes, near Avignon, the heart of the Côtes du Rhône region. The estate's vineyards span 150 hectares across prestigious appellations, including Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Côtes du Rhône Villages Cairanne, and Côtes du Rhône. Planted in limestone clay soils and benefitting from the Mediterranean climate, the vines are protected by the Mistral, a strong wind that sweeps through the Rhone Valley.
Each wine from the estate is crafted to deliver a unique experience, highlighting delicacy, elegance, and complexity. This particular blend of Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, and Viognier is harvested separately to ensure optimal ripeness. Fermentation takes place over a long period at controlled temperatures (61-64°F), followed by four months of ageing in concrete and stainless steel tanks with regular stirring.
The wine presents a light yellow hue with green highlights, offering aromas of yellow fruits like plum and apricot, alongside a touch of citrus zest. On the palate, it is fresh and mineral-driven, with a slight bitterness and a zesty, refreshing finish.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
