A beautiful Dolcetto from Elvio Cogno, one of the Langhe’s most respected estates. Vigna del Mandorlo takes its name from the vineyard on the Ravera hillside in the village of Novello, an area with a long tradition of producing expressive, vibrant Dolcetto.
The 2025 vintage is generous and fruit-driven, offering aromas of ripe blackberry, black cherry and plum alongside subtle floral and earthy notes. The palate is juicy and full-bodied, with plenty of fresh dark fruit, balanced by Dolcetto’s trademark lively acidity and gentle, slightly bitter almond character on the finish.
It is a classic example of Dolcetto made for enjoyment, approachable in its youth, yet capable of developing additional complexity with some bottle age. Perfect for pasta, pizza, antipasti, charcuterie or simply enjoying by the glass with good food and company.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
