The Domaine Belleville Mercurey "Champ Roin" 2023 is a Pinot Noir from Burgundy's Côte Chalonnaise, with a ruby-purple hue with aromas of raspberry, blackberry, and spice, leading to a medium-bodied, fleshy palate with toasted notes and a long, fruity finish, showing freshness from its north-facing clay-limestone terroir and balance from varied vineyard parcels, aged in French oak. It's structured and very appealing.

Whilst packing up to move internationally a friend died and I needed to organise an emergency case of something luscious to support the wake. This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
