Domaine Remoriquet is a small, family-run estate based in Nuits-Saint-Georges and has been making Burgundy wines for four generations. The domaine works around 9 hectares of vineyards, producing both red and white wines, with a focus on traditional winemaking and careful vineyard work. Their approach gives the wines a fresh, pure style that reflects the character of the Burgundy terroir.
Fresh and lively, with aromas of lemon, green apple, citrus zest and delicate white flowers. The palate is crisp and refreshing, with bright acidity, a subtle mineral character and a clean, slightly saline finish. A very easy-drinking and elegant Aligoté, perfect as an aperitif or alongside seafood, oysters and goat’s cheese.

Whilst packing up to move internationally a friend died and I needed to organise an emergency case of something luscious to support the wake. Not only did their wonderful team organise and deliver within an incredibly tight deadline they drafted a message for me too which I approved. Wonderful!!

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
