This is a great Chardonnay for the price! Wild yeast fermentation, low yields and naturally balanced grapes. This is a serious unoaked textural Chardonnay with great focus and poise. Classy, with flinty minerality and great purity and restraint. Extended time on the lees adds nutty and toasty notes. Intense yet delicate right through to the finish. Very nice indeed.
Serve with roast chicken, pasta and creamy sauce or grilled tiger prawns. Also great with Thai food.

Words can't express the brilliance of Butlers or the thoughtfulness, expertise and compassion of their team! Whilst packing up to move internationally a friend died and I needed to organise an emergency case of something luscious to support the wake. Not only did their wonderful team organise and deliver within an incredibly tight deadline they drafted a message for me too which I approved. Wonderful!!

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
