Felicette First Contact IGP Côtes Catalanes 2025

Terres Fidèles creates small-batch wines inspired by the wild landscapes of south-western France, working with talented local growers across the foothills of the Pyrénées, inland valleys and Mediterranean coastline. Founded by Fergal Tynan MW, the range celebrates the character of the region through authentic wines that balance ripe fruit with freshness and a sense of place. The vineyards benefit from both Mediterranean and Atlantic influences, with clay-limestone soils contributing to the wines’ freshness and mineral character. Felicette First Contact is a distinctive skin-contact white, made from a co-fermentation of Grenache Gris and Muscat.

Harvested in late August, the grapes are destemmed and undergo 20 days of temperature-controlled maceration with daily pump-overs before being pressed to complete fermentation. The result is an expressive, lively wine bursting with zesty citrus peel, delicate floral aromas and hints of sweet, exotic spice. Serve it chilled to bring the bright citrus character to the fore, or allow it to warm slightly in the glass to reveal its deeper floral and spicy notes. Fresh, vibrant and full of personality, this is an adventurous take on southern French winemaking.
