A high-quality red wine that originates from the Beaujolais region of France. It is produced by Domaine Joseph Burrier, a family-owned winery with a long history of winemaking in the region.
The Beaujolais region is known for producing some of the world's finest red wines, and the Juliénas 'Beauvernay' is no exception. The wine is made from 100% Gamay grapes, which are handpicked and carefully sorted to ensure only the best quality fruit is used in the winemaking process.
The 2015 vintage is particularly notable for its depth of flavour and complexity. On the nose, the wine offers aromas of black cherry, raspberry, and a hint of spice. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and well-structured, with flavours of ripe red fruit, earthy undertones, and a subtle mineral finish.
This wine is best enjoyed when served slightly chilled, making it a perfect accompaniment to a variety of dishes. It pairs particularly well with grilled meats, roasted vegetables, and soft cheeses.

Words can't express the brilliance of Butlers or the thoughtfulness, expertise and compassion of their team! Whilst packing up to move internationally a friend died and I needed to organise an emergency case of something luscious to support the wake. Not only did their wonderful team organise and deliver within an incredibly tight deadline they drafted a message for me too which I approved. Wonderful!!

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
