Château de Camensac have 86 hectares of vines on two different types of soil: The Günzian gravel found in Saint-Julien and the Villefranchian gravel found in Pessac-Léognan.
2019 was a good vintage in Bordeaux; with favourable weather in August and September, allowing for a quality harvest.
Merlot (70%),Cabernet Sauvignon (30%)
Bright garnet in the glass, with aromas of freshplum,blackcurrantanddarkberries,withmintandlightchocolatenotes. On the palate this is a medium-bodied, juicy Bordeaux with lively acidity and fine, well-integrated tannins. Cherry and cocoa flavors lead into hints of tobacco and a lightly herbal, refreshing finish.
An immediately accessible wine; balanced and easy-drinking.
Pair with roast beef or grilled lamb chops.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
