Leeuwin Estate Prelude Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon is a premium wine from one of Australia's renowned wineries, showcasing the unique terroir of the Margaret River region in Western Australia. This wine features a rich, deep ruby colour and a fragrant bouquet of blackcurrant, blackberry, and integrated oak. On the palate, it is rich and full-bodied with bright acidity balancing the fruit and oak flavours. Firm yet gentle tannins provide a delightful structure and length to the finish. With the potential to be cellared for several years, the flavours will develop and mature over time.
The wine presents a bright, lively, and fragrant nose with blackcurrants and dark cherries, complemented by higher notes of clove, cumin, black cardamom, and star anise. Subtle hints of coffee and cocoa lie in the background. The palate is finely and delicately structured, featuring boysenberries, blackcurrants, and plums. Volume and density through the mid-palate are balanced with a bright mineral acid line, finishing with seamless tannins.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
