From Treviso in the Veneto region of Italy and produced from the Glera grape, comes the outstanding Terre dei Buth Prosecco Spumante Brut DOC.
An elegant, organic and vegan Prosecco, with zingy aromas of ripe green apple, citrus and peach on the nose and notes of fresh tropical fruit on the palate and a soft lingering finish.
El Tesoro Verdejo Castilla Leon 2024 (Spain) - £9.35
This is a great wine for the price! Full of tropical fruit on the nose, citrus and green apple with hints of fresh grass.
Cape Wild Chardonnay 2024 (South Africa) - £10.75
The grapes, from a single vineyard in Paarl, are gently crushed and naturally fermented without additives. Fermentation takes place 80% in tank and 20% in seasoned French oak barrels, with partial malolactic fermentation. The wine then ages on fine lees for 9 months, undergoing no fining and only coarse filtration.
On the nose, it’s fresh and expressive, featuring bright citrus and stone fruit aromas with a touch of subtle, spicy oak. The palate is ripe and textured, with vibrant fruit balanced by crisp acidity and savoury, toasty notes from lees ageing and barrel fermentation.
Beaujolais Villages Les Pivoines 2024 (France) - £14.50
Gamay vines grown on the slopes of the rolling Beaujolais hills. Whole bunch Gamay is fermented using traditional carbonic maceration techniques.
Exuberant fruity red wine with juicy crushed strawberries, cherry characters and an intriguing savoury twist. The palate is soft and approachable with vibrant acidity and a mouthwatering floral, morello cherry finish.
Domaine Gayda Sphere Syrah IGP Pays D'Oc 2023 (France) - £11.99
An intense burlat cherry colour with deep violet highlights. The fresh nose reveals aromas of black fruits such as blackcurrant and blackberry, accompanied by notes of coffee bean and mocha.On the palate, the wine is generous, persistent with deep black fruit. A fine expression of Syrah, with a deep, elegant structure.
Cantino Pirovano Beatrice Primitivo 2024 (Italy) - £12.99
The Beatrice wines come from the sun-drenched vineyards of Puglia, where late-ripening red varieties flourish.
A smooth and comforting wine, the Primitivo offers rich plummy fruit with notes of creamy mocha and leather. An easy drinking full-bodied red with a rounded fruity finish.

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
