The name "I love monsters" comes from the wineries line up of wines dedicated to older styles of wine making and things that are a little off piste.
Tenuta di Tavignano are based in the Marche region in central Italy, the vineyard was certified organic in 2015 and in the winery there is little intervention and low use of sulphur. For this wine there is no filtration and no sulphur used so the wine is vegan. Il Pestifero (Mischievous) is a blend of Verdicchio, Malvasia and Sangiovese. This is pet nat style of wine, this is a method of production where the juice is bottle during fermentation so that it finishes in bottle, this creates a small fizz to the wine.
Il Pestifero is tasty and that's its purpose, bright floral and citrus fruits, fresh acidity and light bubbles.
