On the Italian island of Sicily the Winery Masseria Setteporte is located on the slopes of Mount Etna, a unique location that creates expressive and rustic wines. The vines are cultivated at an altitude of up to 800m, this combined with a typical Mediterranean climate and volcanic soils, produces wines that are elegant and drinkable.
Nerello Mascalese with a touch of Nerello Cappuccio. It boasts a vibrant ruby red hue and a delightful fruity aroma infused with notes of red fruits and wild berries, complemented by a pronounced minerality and herbaceous notes. Its dry finish is finely tuned with elegance and persistence.
Pairs well with Sicilian vegetable dishes, pecorino and black olive foccacia

This was my second visit to Butlers Wine Cellar and on both occasions the service has been wonderful. The young lady assisted me and my wife on a number of purchases of wine and sherry and seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Having tasted them she was spot on with her comments on each bottle. I would highly recommend anyone to use this shop.
